Call For Stem Cell Trial

Few weeks back I posted about first stem cell transplant in ALS patient. Last week I got a call from Emory University to take part in the trial. It’s a phase 1 trial, so it means they are testing safety of the procedure and it might not benefit me. I’m checking with my doctor whether I should try this or wait for phase 2. In either case challenges are enormous as I will have to move to Atlanta for a year or so. But I’m excited about it as finally there might be something that will help .
