It’s been a week since I stopped working, and things are looking good. Initially I was bit worried about not working, but now I have overcome those worries. Even without any work, my day is still filled with activities and that keeps me busy. Being at home and away from work has allowed me to spend more time with my daughter. My wife got some activity books for her and we spend couple of hours each day working on those. Then I have physical exercises to do each day (3 times). And later I digest all the tech news there is for the day, and believe me it’s a lot of news.
Over the weekend, my brother visited us from Virginia. It was good he visited, as he was able to fix couple of thing around the house 
. Last Friday, Geek Squad visited to fix my plasma TV as it was having some problems with the picture. The TV isn’t fixed yet, let’s see what they do next. Glad I got one of those performance plans with it.
Last night, my daughter was telling me that she will go to her pre-school tomorrow and then after a pause she says ‘papa you need to go to office too’. That made me think whether I should tell her that I no longer work. I decided not to tell her, as it will be easier for her that way. Not sure I did the right thing, but I am sure she will understand when time comes.
